We are delighted to have reached 25 years in business and to be thriving in our local community in Stonehouse. Established on 17th of October 1994, we originally occupied a small office in the centre of the High Street and 15 years later, moved to the larger premises on Gloucester Road. Three of the founder members of the firm have now retired, but John Hingston and Geoff Sztypuljak, who were also co-founders, are still very active in the business.
It has been a pleasure assisting the local community over the past 25 years. A good number of our clients have been with us from the start and we look forward to continuing these financial relationships and welcoming new ones.
Financial advice is a very personal and difficult subject for most people and we enjoy building the trust and friendship of working with someone over a number of years and sharing in the pleasure and satisfaction of seeing them achieve their goals.
Although we are not a large firm by many standards, we have placed great importance on maintaining a friendly and personal service which is often not possible with larger organisations. The Directors John and Geoff are joined by fellow advisers Simon Evans and Nick Hingston (Nick is John’s son and is an Advanced Mortgage Specialist), together with support staff Ali Porton, Angela Price and Jessica Smith-Burrows. Our support staff are the smiley face of the office, as, amongst other things, they are responsible for meeting and greeting clients upon arrival and putting them at ease with a nice cup of coffee!
So, what about the next 25 years? There have been many changes over the past 25 years, and we are sure the next 25 will be no different. Although the solutions may change, we believe there will always be a need for quality financial advice and we are already working with a number of clients’ children and grandchildren. We also engage with new people each month, many of whom have been referred to us. Given the younger staff that we have and our commitment to our clients, we look forward to serving the local community for the next 25 years.
